OSM has decided to part ways with, drummer, Andre Love.
It was a gutwrenching decision that we labored over for
months. We wish Andre the best and think that he is an
incredible musician. It was our pleasure to share the
stage with him for the last few years.
Our newest addition is, drummer, Rick Leith
(NO SaNER, Breakingform). He is currently learning
the set and we are writing a new album, together.
Expect us out in April with many new, crushing songs.
Things are going very well. See you there!

Hey everyone. Sorry we haven't updated this site
lately....we've been paying more attention to the
myspace page (www.myspace.com/oneslackmind).
The biggest news from us is the addition of Zoe
Suzanne Love to the OSM family. Dre and his lovely
wife, Laurel, welcomed baby Zoe to the world on
Sunday, September 3rd. She is healthy and beautiful.
We are taking it easy on the playing schedule while we
write new music and allow Dre and Laurel to enjoy
being new parents.
Check the schedule....and please come out to the 5th
Annual Birthday Bash in Manassas, VA on November 4th.
It will be an awesome time.

Our longtime bassist, Brodie Marrow, has decided to leave Active Slacker Status to engage in scholarly pursuits.
We wish him well. We’ll be the one’s in the Jager shirts at his long awaited college graduation.
Our newest member is Steve Fletcher (Spectre,Tao of Seafus).
Thank you very much to the other people that tried out. We appreciate your efforts.
We are very excited and lucky to have Steve step in for us. I’m sure everyone will be pleasantly surprised.
His 1st show will be at First Break Café in Sterling, VA on the 21st of January.

The CD is nearly complete. Mixing will be finished up in the next few
days. We have ourselves a CD release Party scheduled for August
26th at JAXX, playing with Life of Agony, so even if you're an occasional slacker this show
will be the place to be.

One Slack Mind has been in the studio working on the next full length CD and the
recordings are going great. Those of you who make it out to the shows have
heard most of the new stuff, but there are tracks you won't hear live, so keep
your eyes open for its release. In the mean time, get your slack ass out
to some shows!
